Interior decor in Al Hamra Village, made for golf views & Gulf light.
Al Hamra Village isn’t an ordinary address — it’s a master-planned waterfront community built around a championship golf course, a marina and the Arabian Gulf. Homes here have light, views and architecture unlike anywhere else in Ras Al Khaimah, and that changes how they should be decorated. Lamha Decoration Works designs feature walls, ceilings, joinery, flooring and complete villa interiors made for the way Al Hamra actually lives.
A few things that make
Al Hamra Village special.
Understanding the community is the first step to decorating a home that truly belongs in it. Here’s what makes Al Hamra unlike anywhere else in RAK.
Master-planned around the Arabian Gulf with beaches, lagoons, a marina and a golf course woven into one neighbourhood — so many homes enjoy direct water or fairway views.
The par-72 Al Hamra Golf Club sits at the community’s heart, making lush green views a defining feature of villa and townhouse living rather than an afterthought.
With around 200 berths, the Al Hamra Marina creates a relaxed waterfront atmosphere of promenades and cafés that sets the tone for interiors throughout the community.
Homes blend traditional Arabic and Spanish-Mediterranean styling — spacious balconies, archways and panoramic windows that reward thoughtful, considered interiors.
A master-planned waterfront development spanning roughly 77 million square feet, home to around 4,000 residences — apartments, townhouses and villas — making it one of Ras Al Khaimah’s largest and most established communities.
Why homes in Al Hamra Village need a different design approach
A villa beside the Arabian Gulf doesn’t behave like an inland apartment. The light is stronger, the humidity is higher, the windows are bigger and the views are the whole point. Decorating well here means working with those conditions, not against them:
- Large windows flood rooms with strong, year-round natural sunlight
- Sea and golf-facing homes benefit from UV-aware materials and finishes
- Coastal humidity makes flooring and surface selection genuinely matter
- Neutral palettes let the marina and golf views remain the hero
- Floor-to-ceiling windows call for custom, measured solutions
- High ceilings need lighting and detailing to feel intimate, not vast

The Al Hamra sunshine is beautiful — but it brings challenges
Living beside the Gulf means abundant daylight all year. But that same strong afternoon sun raises indoor heat and, over time, fades furniture, flooring and fabrics. The right interior choices — UV-aware finishes, heat-managing window treatments, and durable, climate-suited flooring — protect your home while preserving the natural light that makes Al Hamra so special. It’s also where our décor work pairs naturally with custom curtains and blinds from our sister brand.
Minutes away: the UAE’s last
traditional pearling village.
Just beside the modern community lies Al Jazeera Al Hamra — and its story quietly shapes how we think about Arabic design here.
A short drive from the villas and marina sits Al Jazeera Al Hamra, the last surviving traditional pearling village in the UAE — a remarkably preserved settlement of coral-stone houses, wind towers, mosques and a old souq, dating back to the 16th–17th century and home to the seafaring Zaab tribe before the pearling industry declined. On the UNESCO World Heritage tentative list, it’s one of RAK’s most atmospheric cultural sites.
Why does this matter for your interior? Because the same instinct that built those coral-stone courtyards — designing for the climate, for shade, for natural airflow and for community gathering — still informs the best majlis and villa interiors in Al Hamra today. Heritage and modern luxury aren’t opposites here; the most memorable homes quietly bridge both.
Al Hamra’s floor-to-ceiling windows and golf-view living rooms are made for custom curtains. Our sister brand Lamha Curtains dresses the windows while we handle the walls, ceilings and finishes.
